Here are some of my favourite podcasts to get your through to your destination – or enhance the walk around the block 😊

[Butt Stuff. RadioLab by WNYC](https://radiolab.org/podcast/butt-stuff) : aired Nov 11, 2022. A fascinating history she uncovered that takes us from a eugenicist’s attempt in the late 1930s to concretize the most average human, to the rise of the garment industry, and the pain and shame we often feel today when we go looking for a pair of pants that actually fit. 37 minutes

[Badass: How to Reclaim and Fight For Your Sex Life](https://meghanwalker.com/impact-podcast/episode-248)with Susan Bratton by Dr. Meghan Walker, ND (inac). IMPACT Podcast. Episode #248, aired Nov 23, 2021.

[Heavy Medals . 30 for 30 Podcasts](https://30for30podcasts.com/heavy-medals/): aired summer 2020. A seven-part story about the influential coaching duo of Bela and Martha Karolyi, how they transformed women’s gymnastics in the United States, and the steep price of all that gold. Reported by Alyssa Roenigk and Bonnie Ford. 7 episodes, each about 45-minutes.

[Outside Magazine Online -The Science of the Power of Awe](https://www.outsideonline.com/podcast/science-power-of-awe/#:~:text=you%20describe%20that%3F-,Dr.,you%20connect%20to%20other%20people. https://www.vox.com/2023/8/29/23850676/luis-rubiales-jenni-hermoso-spain-womens-world-cup-kiss-aftermath) (35-minutes) Contributing editor Florence discusses how shared awe experiences sync nervous systems between people, fostering connection. It's so interesting and awe-some ;)

[Bird Note – Parrots Using Video Chat](https://www.birdnote.org/podcasts/birdnote-daily/parrots-using-video-chat-keep-touch) (2-minutes) – this podcast has daily 2-3 minute episodes - aired 2025. What can I say, I'm a "bird person" and especially fond of parrots. Bird Note is a wonderfully produced with beautiful audio, making all their 3-minute episodes informative and a pleasure. This episode will totally make you rethink how humans should be caring for parrots.

Happy listening!
